European Mobility Week kicks off today with the “Burgas Run” festival. It will feature alternative transportation ideas, plenty of excitement and fun, and will run through September 22. This year, Mobility Week will be held under the theme “Clean Mobility for All,” and its organizers are once again the Municipality of Burgas and the Regional Information Center.

The third edition of the “Burgas Run” will start at 8 a.m. on the paths behind the Primorets Hotel. The race will feature three categories: a run for children and parents with strollers, and two distances of 5 and 10 km. The festival grounds will feature booths from various exhibitors and a rich accompanying program for people of all ages and interests.

The sporting event is titled “Burgas Run 2 ½ – The People of Burgas Must Be Crazy.” All the courses are located in the Sea Garden area.

Burgas Run 2 ½ will support the charity campaign to help fund Hristina Nacheva’s treatment, “Lend a Hand—Make a Dream Come True,” and anyone wishing to help Hristi can contribute an amount of their choice.

Race bibs will be distributed between 8:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. behind the Primorets Hotel for the 5- and 10-km races, and between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. behind the Primorets Hotel for children and parents with strollers.
