Burgas Run is an idea conceived by a group of friends from Burgas, united by their love of the sea, exercise, culture, and good beer.

With the help of dozens of volunteers and dedicated partners, in 2018 we were able to launch a sporting event that has since become a tradition.

On September 13, 2026, the ninth edition of the Burgas Run will take place, this time with a new start/finish line—the square in front of the NHK Cultural Center. The event returns with the popular 21-km race, along with the familiar 5-km and 10-km races.

Participants will enjoy an exciting route that passes through iconic locations in Burgas—from the Sea Garden to Burgas’s main thoroughfares, where traffic will be temporarily suspended.

To participate in the Burgas Run 2026, you must register.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must complete a Declaration.

Burgas Run 2026 offers a choice of three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km.

The race will start from the square in front of the NHK Cultural Center, and the route will pass through the seaside park and major thoroughfares, where traffic will be temporarily suspended.
