As an architect, my profession can swing between two extremes—from being very interesting and creative to being extremely boring and bureaucratic paperwork. That’s why I’ve always sought a balance through activities that help me develop my creative thinking and express myself visually. In this regard, Burgas Run has taken on a significant role in the jumble of things I’m involved in.
Although I haven’t been part of the festival team since its inception, day after day it gives me so much more than just the satisfaction of having helped create a few images—namely, the sense that I’m doing this as part of a community where I see how small pieces of the puzzle, step by step, come together to create a final product, and the result is always surprisingly good.
